Destination: Boquete.
Located in Palmira (Boquete) Panama. (This is not in Panama City.) We specialize in small "hands-on" experiences. You will get to see, touch and do each step of the process to make coffee. Pick some cherries from the trees (November through January) – Process the cherries. – Feel and test some beans to check moisture content. – Try out our pilon and see how heavy the stick actually is. – Roast your own coffee to take home! (each group will have a machine to roast a small batch of coffee as you learn about the roasting process) – Sort your coffee to make it perfect before you package it. And last but not least, Drink some coffee brewed in a variety of ways. ​**Geisha coffee tasting is included!**

Destination: Antigua.
On this tour you will be able to connect with an agricultural town, learn how the country people work, and of course learn about part of the coffee processes, where the coffee grower is an expert and will know how to connect with nature. You will know the processes of the farm, from which fertilizers are used, the treatment of the plants and you will live the experience with a local coffee grower. It will be explained how to make an ideal cup of coffee and you will learn how it is harvested within the area. You will learn to make your ideal cup and you will drink coffee 100% made by coffee growers in the area.

Along the way, you’ll learn more than just the process behind coffee–you’ll have authentic and transparent conversations with small-scale producers to hear firsthand about their obstacles, triumphs, and goals as coffee growers and experience their persisting enthusiasm and dedication to the coffee industry.

It begins with a tour of the coffee plantations, where our visitors know the process from planting, passing to the beneficiary to see the transformation process and finally in the beautiful main house they perform a sensory experience type cupping. Coffee was discovered in Ethiopia by a goat who always admired the sweet sap of the coffee juice inside the coffee skin. After its discovery, people started eating the fruits mainly during famine and leisure not until the coming of missionaries and the Indian merchants who introduced the commercialization of coffee. The missionaries used to normally send coffee to their relatives as gifts. Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour Around 20 -30 minutes outside of Moshi are Materuni waterfalls. As this trip is so close by it is ideal for those people with limited time but who would still like to see some of the nature and beauty that this region of Tanzania has to offer. These falls are smaller than the previously described Ndoro, but still pretty impresive at 150 meters high and definitely a sight worth seeing. From Materuni Village we will walk some 30 minutes to the waterfall. The walk itself is extremely interesting, as you will see some smaller waterfalls and lots of waterways which are part of the irrigation system of the local farmers who grow coffee, bananas and many other fruits and vegetables.
